Chimney Sweep Ratings is a directory and educational website. Our hosting and security providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, referring page and timestamps. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.

How information is used

Technical data may be used to operate, secure, diagnose and improve the site. Messages are used to respond to the request, correct directory information or address site administration. We do not sell personal information.

Third-party links and business data

Profiles may contain publicly available business contact and reputation information and may link to third-party websites. Those services have their own privacy practices. Ratings and review counts should be checked at their original source.

Homeowner worksheets

The Passport stores entries in this browser only when you choose Save. You can load or remove that copy from the tool. Quote comparison entries last for the current page session. These tools do not send entered information to our servers. Printing uses your browser and selected destination.

Retention and choices

We retain information only as reasonably necessary for site operation, legal obligations and correspondence. You may request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted, subject to applicable law.
